Log; Open; Ongoing;
When; October 16th, evening
Rating; PG-13, possibly R in certain threads
Characters; Time Bomb, friends, guests of friends, random people Curt ran into on the street, and party crashers
Summary; Rain or shine--or total lack of shine--the album release party is going forward.
Log;Curt probably could have managed to throw a larger party, but he didn't really want one, and the half of the bar they've rented out is filling up fast enough as it is. He's gone for his shiny silver pants tonight, because it is a celebration, and a romantically flowing white shirt because that covers up the bandages on his arms. Tonight is a night for many people to get very drunk and listen to the album many times. If there's some use and abuse of newly acquired superpowers along the way, so be it. (It is secretly Curt's birthday too.)

They suit you, dude. And I couldn't say that about most people.

[Curt leans against him as a natural instinct, and gets started on his drink.]

No wonder they work, then.

Today is a good day.

Why, what were you expecting?

[He waves his hand around indicating the City in general.]
And then I guess I spent a lot of time here thinking I wouldn't be around long enough to accomplish anything. After a while though...I realized here I had a chance to do things a little differently. Not change, exactly, but just kind of escape some of the baggage of being me.

That's good, man. I'm happy for you.

Hey Lucy. You look, uh, shiny?
no subject
Thank you! Shiny is exactly what I was going for. Also kind of rock and roll. You have to sign my CD. Did Curt already tell you?
no subject
[What? He's a nineties kid.]

You do realize seeing the top part of my boob won't kill you and they won't take away your gay card, right?
[She's just going to flop down on the barstool next to him.]
no subject
If I do it, will you stop showing me your boobs ever?
no subject
Possibly!
[Until she starts walking around your apartment half naked because she stayed over and can't be bothered to find underwear.]
