How does that work?

There's various methods, prismatic dyes applied to the skin, you can embed the crystals directly or take chemicals that actually cause the skin to crystallize - although that can have some nasty side effects if worn for too long. Skintight fabrics with pinlights... there's really any number of ways to achieve the look.

Pretty much. Not, like, actually sparkle, but started wearing glitter on stage and the next thing I knew, everyone was doing it.
