[ooc: Action is a go. Curt is out and about all day and unlike most making no attempt whatsoever to avoid the plantlife. All comers welcome, this is Curt Wild after all.]

So, you don't care if the curse gets you?

Not particularly.

[For action purposes, Curt is leaning up against a wall, directly under a bunch of mistletoe.

Huh. I think that you're the first one I've seen who doesn't.

[Curt shrugs.]

I enjoy kissing people. I like to think I'm pretty good at it.

[a blink as he steps closer] Well that's a new one. So, you want people to kiss you or you don't care if they do?

I want people to kiss me, but not, like, everyone and anyway I acknowledge that there are people who wouldn't want to kiss me.

[Just keep walking, Demyx, right toward that mistletoe.]

[Oh, he is! He is finding you increasingly interesting through this conversation, Curt.] But, aside from the curse, don't only, you know, girlfriends and boyfriends kiss?

[Curt is so amused by this, he can't even pick a response.] Not necessarily.

[Actually, kissing Demyx seems like a really good idea right now, even though it's not actually something he's considered doing before. So, he just goes for it.]

[So, this is something that he should tell Demyx. Because this is honestly what he thinks; and, aside from this curse, all that he's seen. But meanwhile, their mouths are otherwise occupied, and he finds himself kissing back, as he does with every experience with this that he's had so far.]

[Curt pulls away but not particularly quickly--he may as well find out what kissing Demyx is like.]

Huh.

[And that's about all the reaction he's going to have. It is time for the birds and the bees according to Curt, which may be more like the birds and other birds and then some mollusks for good measure.]

You know, sometimes boys kiss each other or girls kiss each other even when there's not a curse.

[It's probably more awkward than Curt is used to, really. It just kind of is, without anything really to it. He mentally notes Curt's reaction, though.]

Well yeah, but like I said that's only if they're- what's that- dating, right?

Well, usually people who are dating do kiss each other, but not everybody who kisses each other is dating. Like...when two people think they like each other but aren't totally sure yet, or they just like kissing but don't want to be in a relationship because those get complicated and messy, or maybe they're drunk. Or their relationship is sort of like dating but not exactly technically that.

[He pauses to see if Demyx is following at all because he has a feeling that continuing with personal life examples will just confuse the issue further.]

[This is a lot to process, but he doesn't usually like to take out his cue cards in front of other people. He knows it's weird, but- well, this is confusing, and there's no way he's going to remember this. But Curt's okay, right?

He reaches into his pocket, pulls out a pen and a cue card, and starts scribbling furiously for about a minute.] O-kay. I think I've got it.

Are you taking notes?

[Actually, it's pretty obvious that that's what he's doing, but still. Maybe he's a robot, thinks Curt. Except robots probably have good memories so why would a robot take notes?]

Uh. Yeah. [pause, he should probably explain] It's a lot of information.

I don't think there's going to be a quiz.

Uh, well, no, but still. It's, um, a lot- [But while they were talking about kissing and people enjoying it-] Uh, hey, Curt, why- I mean, you said that people, and you, enjoy kissing, right?

Why?

Because it feels good. [Shrug.] Which I guess really has to do with sex.

[What? That made no sense.] What does kissing have to do with sex? [pause, considering] Well, I mean, I know that it leads to it sometimes . . .

[Nod.] So...the feelings that people have for each other that make them want to kiss or make love are basically the same, and there's usually some of the first thing involved in the second thing.

[Kind of jotting some things down, before pausing.] Make love? That's- you mean sex, right?

[More nodding.]

There are a lot of expressions for it.

[Eunuch guardsman. Disguised lizard creature. Naive monk. There has to be some explanation.]

[slightly mumbled] Never heard that one before. [normal tone] So, uh, people kiss because they like it, but- [Pausing, how does he phrase this? He doesn't even know if there's any sort of answer.]

I mean, I've been kissing people all day because of the curse, but I don't- I mean, it didn't feel like anything.

[OoC: Screw you, I snorted in laughter. Also, going to bed, might not get back until after the weekend, Happy New Year's!]

Well, maybe it's because you weren't kissing the right people. It's not the same with everyone. I mean, I've kissed a really huge number of people and usually enjoyed it, but I still think it makes a difference whether it's someone special or not.

Or maybe you just don't like it. Sometimes people are different from other people. [There is the tiniest bit of a question mark on the last word.]

[ooc: Have a lovely holiday!]

You think it's just that? Someone special. Huh. I don't know if I-

There're people that don't like kissing?

Someone, someones, something, you'd know better than me.

Well, sure, there's people who find it kinda boring compared to other things.

[He would?] Well, I mean, I've heard of it, yeah, but I've never really, uh, had anyone, I guess.

Yeah? What sorta things?

Sex things.

[Under other conditions Curt would be more specific. Possibly a lot more specific. However, such specificity would be lost on his current audience. So instead he just looks at Demyx as if to say Are you sure you still want to be taking notes on this?]

Oh. [As if to answer your question, he scribbles a few more things down, then tilts his head. Back . . . and forth . . . hmm.] But- if they like sex, they should like kissing- or do I mean that the other way?
