In case any of you were wondering why I do what I do, this song says it all. You'll here plenty from parents and teachers and all about the corrupting influence of rock music and it's not like I don't know my life doesn't look like a good argument against that, but my life was saved by rock and roll and I think it still is, every day.

Yeah, mostly. I mean, here I have to do more than perform to make ends meet, but I don't hold down a regular job.

I don't know if she'd be up your alley but I think she's important to my type of music, thought not necessarily in my dimension. It's complicated.

Yeah, I don't understand how people can think it does. I don't even think alcohol can make you do anything you don't secretly really want to do either.

Yeah. I wanna put on good shows but sometimes also try to get a message across.
