This isn't actually the worst one you could start out with, but at the moment kinda seems like that to me.

It really, really does. I keep trying to tell myself at least I have all my fingers, but--honestly I think I'd trade five of them for a cigarette. Do you think it's comforting we're not suffering alone?

It does feel a little lonely, particularly when you keep getting the same advice from well-meaning people. And we're not cranky, the two of us, we're just--fried. So there's that.
