So I know there's more important stuff to worry about and I'm looking for a safe place to wait things out, but I can't help but wonder who is and who isn't still a member of my band. I'm pretty much always looking for musicians with experience in rock bands or any interest in rock music whatsoever, since it's hard to get people to stick around around here.

Cat ran off, fyi, but that's nothing unusual and it's probably better at taking care of itself than I am.

There's going to be plenty of advertisements up around the City and another announcement on the day of, but if you're interested in hearing me and my band perform I want you to be able to save the date.

Now that's that out of the way, I want to tell you about the Beast.  I'd been hearing some weird noises around my apartment and one day I finally saw something move out of the corner of my eye, so I figured it was probably time to clean things up a little.  I was worried I had mice or something but then I actually caught sight of the Beast, which turned out to be a cat.  Seems it's been getting in off the fire escape, through the tear in the screen.  I should maybe get that fixed, but it's kind of nice having something else alive around the place, what with the ticking at all.  Even if it does look like this:

I've been feeding it, so it shows up for a bit more days than not.  Won't get within about five feet of me, but I'm okay with that.

Sheep are growing, as if there weren't enough around already. 

Anyway, I think it's high time I got off my ass and found something resembling a job.  If anyone has a band or is looking to join one, I sing and play guitar.  Mostly rock, but I was in a blues band for a while.  And if anyone's actually looking to hire a band I can probably throw one together pretty quick.  I'm also open to giving lessons or any odd jobs you might know about.   As far as I can tell no one's heard of me here but back home I was actually kind of well known.

I don't have a guitar right now so if someone's selling one for cheap, let me know.
